About This Artist
Paola Delfin comes from Ciudad de México. She is best known as a visual artist, as well as a Muralist. Being influenced by illustrations and a mixture of unusual materials, she is as good with a spray can as she is with a brush or a pencil. When it comes to her favorite topic, exploring the feminine sensibility and beauty her artwork simply stands out. Delfin’s works are featured as a part of the opening of URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.
Paola Delfin grew up with a piece of paper and a pencil. She is a master when it comes to visualizing what ever she has in her head. Her desire to share, explore and exchange what is within her made it obvious she belongs on the streets. Her believe that her artwork on a paper or small canvas will be just misunderstood, simply because the message it conveys is enormous prove her place as well. Throughout her mural artwork focusing on feminism, her artworks become global. Her female characters speak of the change, the nature, beauty, struggles, parts of herself, at least at the state when she is painting, but most importantly the local stories and views. Her interest on how people live daily and her ability to find an inspiration in it is what makes her artwork so unique.
