This mural is titled “Blue Sky” and is on the side of J&T Towing on North 9th St. in Lafayette, IN. This mural was painted by mural artist, Imagine. “Blue Sky” was one of five murals painted for the Fall Wabash Walls 2023 series.
IMAGINE (aka Sneha Shrestha) is a Nepali artist who incorporates her native language and meshes the aesthetics of Sanskrit scriptures with graffiti influences. She has shown her meditative works in several exhibitions, commissioned works and public walls around the world from Kathmandu to Boston.
This mural is born from IMAGINE’s signature blue, red, and orange color scheme, and uses Sanskrit letters to create layers of overlapping color and meaning.
